Getting ready for a white Christmas?I'm preparing for a very colorful one :)

Inspired by a new friend, I made something like I've never done before and had a lot of fun making it.

Hello everybody and please excuse me for neglecting this spot for so long.
Life has been a bit crazy( chaos tends to happen :)) )lately,which resulted in a few important decisions.
1. I allocated myself an year to try and see how I can make a living if I quit my day job and dedicate my time to crafting...this resulted in quite a few new items :) . Please check out my shop and support my fight for freedom :) .

Bridal hair piece 'Fairy dream'

For a special bride inlove with wild flowers I created this piece of crochet flowers mounted on wire clad in cotton thread.Adjustable lenght, main piece aprox. 54cm.

Blue Hawaiian dream

In cool shades of blue this set is great for hot summers :).
Crocheted flowers, artificial textile flowers, crochet lace, natural stones of lapis lazuli and howlite, sand beads. The base is wire clad in bluish grey cotton. The diameter of the largest flower(right) is aprox. 8.5cm. The earrings are miniature flowers in two shades of blue, decorated with a lot of sand beads.

'Rolling waves'

It's that time of year again..starting to plan seaside holidays the Marmot gets dreaming of rolling waves and sunny beaches :). Trying to capture the mood I crocheted waves in many shades of green,with a bit of beige and some small white beads. Sea glass and white mother of pearl fragments were crocheted and added to the mix.In the lace folds of a wave some glass pearls found a nice home.
Silvery metal elements,chain for adjustable lenght. A glass pearl is hanging delicately on the back.
It can be wear as in the pictures at the base of the neck or looser.

Born of the Marmot's longing for a quiet holiday by the sea, this necklace combines shells from the Black Sea with crochet elements,sand beads, spiraled lace. Everything is carefully stitched together, there are no glued elements. The back of the necklace is soft and comfortable on the skin,not to mention it's very beautiful :). The base is wire treated anti- oxidation clad in cotton thread.Interior diameter aprox. 14 cm.

Bunch of blue roses

have you ever seen blue roses?Well, the Marmot has a bunch of them on offer. They are crocheted in thin cotton thread and mounted on wire clad in cotton. There are some turquoise chips and sand beads around too :). Check out my facebook page for more stuff!

Midnight flight

Flying on the wings of dreams, these are magic butterflies made of veil,sand beads and blue crystals. Some areas are painted in acrylic colors. The flower on the necklace is crochet from gray silk. The earrings(7cm length) also have black crystals and indigo pearls(natural,from farming).
